This Internship Changed How I See Work Culture

I have been working as a test automation intern at Entteri for seven months now, and throughout this time, I have been extremely satisfied with both the work environment and the overall experience.
From the very beginning, I received excellent onboarding, and everyone was incredibly welcoming. Right away, I felt like a valued part of the team rather than just an intern. The supportive atmosphere made it easy to integrate into the company, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed coming to work every morning. I’ve never encountered a situation where someone was in a bad mood or treated others poorly. The culture here is exceptionally positive, and help has always been readily available whenever I needed it. Asking for assistance has never been intimidating, which has made learning and growing in my role much easier.
My main responsibilities have included converting manual tests into automated ones, which has given me a deeper understanding of test automation and how it enhances efficiency. Additionally, I have worked on manually testing older tests during regression periods, ensuring that updates and changes don’t negatively impact existing functionalities. With recent updates to Robot Framework, I’ve also had the opportunity to refactor older tests, improving their structure and reliability. These tasks have been both diverse and engaging, allowing me to gain hands-on experience with different aspects of software testing. I’ve learned a great deal, not only about automation but also about problem-solving and adapting to new tools and methodologies.
One of the things I appreciate most about Entteri is the work culture. It’s a place where everyone can truly be themselves without feeling pressure to conform or pretend to be someone they’re not. At least in my experience, no one ever needs to feel nervous about coming to work in the morning. The balance between professionalism and a relaxed atmosphere is just right - important matters are taken seriously, but there is always room for friendly conversations and a sense of camaraderie. This makes for a work environment that is both motivating and enjoyable.
Looking back on my internship at Entteri so far, I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this team. The experience has not only strengthened my technical skills but has also shown me the value of a positive and collaborative workplace. Entteri has set a high standard for what a great work environment should be, and I can confidently say that it has been an excellent place to learn, grow, and gain real-world experience in test automation.
