At Entteri, we know that the best professional relationships develop in environments that encourage meaningful interaction. On February 19, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting an interactive and dynamic event for a group of international mentees - an afternoon filled with insights, shared experiences, and a new perspective on networking.
A Different Kind of Introduction
Instead of the usual formal greetings, the event began with a warm and engaging introduction to Entteri’s work and culture, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience.
Breaking Barriers, One Story at a Time
Next, an interactive activity encouraged conversation and connection. Rather than a typical icebreaker, the mentees participated in a creative storytelling exercise that quickly turned strangers into storytellers. Laughter and spontaneous ideas filled the room as participants built a tale together - an unexpected yet effective way to get everyone comfortable and engaged.
One mentee shared: “The game part was great fun - everyone contributed a sentence, and we ended up with a funny story! After that, I had several conversations with others, where I got to learn more about topics related to my own field while enjoying the delicious snacks and drinks.”

Following the storytelling, the team shared insights into Entteri’s journey, values, and the exciting innovations happening within the company. The mentees gained valuable knowledge about the company’s culture, projects, and the mindset that drives success at Entteri.
Real Talk on Career Growth
One of the most appreciated segments was the career insights session, where employees shared their own professional journeys, challenges, and lessons learned. Instead of a lecture, it became an open and engaging discussion that encouraged mentees to ask questions, exchange thoughts, and reflect on their own career paths. The session left everyone feeling inspired and equipped with actionable takeaways.
A mentee reflected: “Visiting Entteri was a great way to get a glimpse into Finnish work culture. The highlight for me was hearing career stories from people who faced similar challenges and found opportunities through networking and sheer resilience. Hearing these stories gave me a fresh perspective on career growth and the different paths people take.”
Another mentee added: “This was my first company visit, and it set the bar high! The career stories made me aspire to be part of a team that’s not just supportive but truly believes in each other.”
Networking & Conversations Over Delicious Food
The highlight of the event? Networking over delicious treats! Forget stiff handshakes and small talk—mentees and Entteri employees connected in a relaxed and welcoming environment over delicious pie and engaging conversations. Instead of structured activities, the informal setup allowed for organic discussions, shared experiences, and meaningful exchanges that made networking feel effortless and enjoyable. By the end, new connections were formed naturally, making the experience both memorable and impactful.
One mentee shared: “We had a great time engaging in fun activities, casual conversations, and networking over snacks. A special highlight for me was the honor of speaking with the CEO, which made the experience even more meaningful.”
